This insectivore plant in the late 1800's was used by the Micmac native Americans of Nova Scotia as a botanical-based remedy for multiple purposes. Since then it was forgotten & then re-discovered. Sarracenia Purpurea ssp. purpurea, is commonly called the "Northern Pitcher Plant", "Purple Pitcher Plant", or "Smallpox Plant". Native to North America, these bog-loving plants grow in thin nutrient-deficient soils. They absorb nutrients from their prey to supplement those lacking in the soil to thrive. Sarracenia Purpurea grows along the Eastern seaboard, Great Lakes region, Alaska, Washington & Canada.

- ALCOHOL (Tincture): Crafted with high proof Certified Organic Non-GMO Gluten-Free Alcohol. Stronger & great for adults. With or without Coconut Glycerin, your choice.
- ALCOHOL-FREE (Extract): Crafted with Organic Coconut Glycerin. Excellent for adults who don't want/can't have alcohol for any reason. Has a sweet taste to it. This one is great for children and topical use.

Directions for INTERNAL & TOPICAL USE
Both our Tincture & Extract are intended for internal use. Simply add the recommended amount of Sarracenia to water according to the instructions for optimal results. Full details and dosage guidelines are included on the label.
For a topical use option, our Alcohol-Free Extract is recommended due to its gentle properties. You can create a topical spray when necessary. To achieve a thinner consistency, dilute with water as needed and transfer it into a spray bottle for use.
Storage & Shelf Life
Recommended storage: Keep in a cool, dark location away from direct sunlight for optimal preservation for 6+ years for the Alcohol and 2 years for the Alcohol-Free. Closed cap is best for long term storage.
